    Too Gingery For Me

    Too gingery, tastes a bit like soap. (If you've ever swore curse words as a kid, and your parent utilized the soap in mouth trick, you will get this reference).

    I wanted to like this one because I had tried the Arouse first and loved it. Also, Ginger is good for digestion and I have some gastro issues which I had hoped this would ease. It is not entirely undrinkable, because you can use it to add a bit of spirits to it, and then it becomes quite yummy. For the record, I am not a big alcohol drinker as this point in my life, so it may take awhile for me to get through the 12-pack I ordered.

    I think overall, the Protect flavor needs to be tweaked a bit because it has an odd aftertaste. I am unsure if it is the peppercorn or not. Perhaps, if they did not use the pink or green peppercorns and only stick to the black and white ones, it may make it more palatable for me. Not sure, but if you LOVE real authentic fresh ginger taste in strong amounts, then this might be the drink for you.

    Best alternative

    I love a carbonated drink but I do like sparkling water. This satisfied me the same way a soda would but with beneficial ingredients.
